Long Hollow Christian Church Family and Friends,
Things are great in Haiti. We are finishing a few projects at the orphanage and we have begun distributing the items many of you gave. Today (Tuesday…I think, time seems to move so much slower here) we have been working on the new toy room for the kids. We painted the walls, created a chalk board, started building shelves and will finish that up tonight. Then we will lay all the toys out and the kids will see it all tomorrow! It will be awesome, look for lots of pictures when we return.
Yesterday (Monday), we had the opportunity to go to an evening Haitian Service. Paul Clayborn preached his first sermon and God was with Him. It was great and I am sure very memorable for him.
We have a new team (from San Diego) staying in the team house where we are staying but they are working at a different orphanage. Tomorrow (Wednesday) they are going to do an evangelistic street dancing program and have asked that I preach for those who gather.
Again, this trip has been a wonderful experience. The team is already talking about coming back. Maybe more of you can come and share the gifts and abilities God has blessed you with. The needs are so great here. Keep praying for us these last few days. Good byes are often very hard. We have all grown very close to several of the kids.
all about Christ,
David

David and group, How exciting it is to read your blogs and keep up with your trip. I know God is working and blessing your efforts. So much work to be done. Praying for you.

Tosh said he misses running with you — haha! (Actually, he never said that but he probably does)
From having been on a mission trip ourselves, we know how difficult the ‘goodbyes’ are. Those kids are going to be so happy — can’t wait to see pictures!
